A day on the ancient highway: Catacombs, Ancient ruins and the Appia way.

The Appian way was once described as the “Queen of Roads” a title well earned, considering it stretched a whopping 563km and was built in 312bc!  Still today the black, basalt cobble stones are marked with the scores of ancient cart wheels and yearn to tell tales of the Spartacus revolt, WW2 Battles and the Olympics of 1960. An eclectic and unbelievable history which we will explore together, along with a visit to a set of Catacombes, ruins of an ancient tomb, Imperial circus and more. A great day on the outskirts of the city followed by a wonderful spot for Lunch.

FEELING LIKE SOMETHING RELAXED AND EASY? Are you done with the crazy crowds of the Colosseum the hordes of the Vatican and the guys selling selfie sticks? let us take you for a relaxing day on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. Catacombes, ancient roads and adventure awaits.
